2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
As Believers, we possess the mind of Christ - a sound mind. It also means an excellent mind. It does not matter how people around you think you are not sound, God says you are, therefore, see yourself in the same light and talk accordingly.
A sound or excellent mind is one that is fixed on God's Word. It is controlled and influenced by the Word of God. It is a renewed Mind that does right things. A sound mind thinks and produces excellence only. It doesn't allow mediocrity and imperfection.
God expects perfection from us. It is clearly written in His Word, "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect" - Matt. 4:58. That is why He gave you a sound mind, an anointed mind, so you will be very excellent at what you do.
Declare always that you are sound. Continually profess yo yourself, "I have an excellent spirit, and I do excellent things, because the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of excellence lives in me. He has anointed my mind to produce excellence". Live in this reality.
